Goodnight Little Moon

A picture book about Blue, a small and curious dinosaur, and his nightly conversations with the moon — whom he names Little Moon. Blue brings the day's news, Little Moon answers with something about the universe, and the two of them work through what Blue is dreaming about and what he is afraid of.

The moon's phases carry the point: things change shape without changing what they are. Written in easy, rhythmic verse for six-to-eight-year-olds and the adult reading it out loud at bedtime.
