Zenith OS
A Linux desktop that reads as finished. Arch underneath, Zenith on top.
Zenith OS is a desktop operating system built on Arch Linux with its own desktop on top: a strip along the top, a dock along the bottom, a Start menu you press a key and type into, a Control Center, and a notification center — the layout people already know, drawn from scratch in one palette and one typeface. Encryption is on by default, and a snapshot is taken before every update so an update can never be a one-way door.
The apps are Zenith's own, not a theme over someone else's: Settings, where every change applies live; Pulse, the task manager; Atlas, the file manager; a Store; a terminal; and Caspian as the browser. It ships free for x86-64 UEFI machines and installs in about ten minutes.
